about the museum

about the museum: "The Museum of Family History's growing collection of photographs and documents has been augmented mostly from those who have expressed a keen interest in this worthwhile project.  Hopefully, much of what will be offered on this website will have appeal for children as well as adults. Perhaps it will promote storytelling from grandparents and parents to their children in the time-honored oral tradition, and will inspire each and every one of us to do more to preserve our cherished family memories for future generations."

DIRECTORY
Two lists exist here. Information about many of the cemeteries located in the New York-New Jersey metro area is made available within this directory, e.g.  their addresses, phone numbers, website URLs, dates of establishment and approximate number of burials. Some of these cemetery websites have searchable databases which can be very useful to the researcher."

Experiencing Teen Drama Overload? Blame Biology : NPR

Experiencing Teen Drama Overload? Blame Biology : NPR: "4. Move away without being rejecting. In preparation for the exit, make a comment that breaks the spell but still keeps you connected. The phrase "I'll go make some tea for us" is a metaphor for any nurturing statement that shows support and implies "I'm not abandoning you." It could be something like "I hope you're doing OK with this. Let's talk again in an hour and see where you are."
